Having trouble with your LaPoste tracking? Here are the most common issues and how to resolve them.
Colis at Bureau de Poste
If delivery wasn't possible, the parcel is held at your local post office for 15 days. Bring the notification card and a valid ID to collect it.
Tracking shows 'Pris en charge'
This means La Poste has received the parcel. It will be sorted and dispatched within 24 hours to the delivery office nearest to the recipient.
International parcel delayed
Colissimo International delivery times are estimates. Customs clearance in the destination country may add 1-5 days. Check tracking for customs status.
Letter Recommandée not received
Registered letters require a signature. If nobody is home, a notice is left and the letter is held at the post office for 15 days.
LaPoste International Shipping & Customs
For items entering France from outside the EU, customs duties and French VAT (20%) apply on goods valued over EUR 150. La Poste/Colissimo collects a handling fee for customs processing.
